To operate the appliance on low speed
1. Press the start/on button to switch on the appliance. The display will illuminate with
sPeeD displayed on the menu.
2. Press the function selection buttons to move the indicator arrow to sPeeD.
3. using the start/on button, you may toggle between high and low sPeeD. The menu
item sPeeD will be displayed or vanish accordingly.
4. Thereafter you may select the desired function for vacuumizing as described below.
The appliance will use the selected speed setting.
sealing FOils – seal Only
Via the seal onlY function, you can seal bags without using the vacuum function. use
this function for finding out the optimum sealing time for your foil material, for making
your own bags of individual size, or for sealing bags airtight but under normal pressure.
for making your own bags, proceed according to the following instructions.
impOrtant: To get a tight and leak-free seal, the sealing time (seal Time) must be
adjusted correctly. Thus, when using the appliance for the first time, or if you are using
a different type of foil material, it is good advice to give it a try. The foil material must
be sealed evenly and tightly but not melted at the rim of the sealing. if required, adjust
the sealing time accordingly and try again.
1. from the bag material (foil tube) measure out a sufficient length to hold the items to
be vacuum packaged, with 5 cm (2 inches) of free space on top. With a pair of
scissors or a sharp knife, cut the desired bag length. it is crucial to cut in a straight
line.
2. Place the appliance onto a suitable surface and connect it to the power supply. a
cracking noise is heart. This is normal.
3. open the lid. Place one end of the cut foil tube onto the heating bar. ensure that the
foil lays smooth on the heating bar and without any folds and gaps.
4. close the lid.
5. Press the start/on button. The display will illuminate, showing the default evacuating
time (Vac Time) and sealing time (seal Time). The fan starts.
6. Press the function selection buttons to move the indicator arrow to seal onlY.
7. using the buttons seal time + and/or seal time - you may adjust the sealing time.
