Note:
The designated vacuum hose may not fit to the lid of vacuum containers being sold
on the market but not provided by the manufacturer. Before operation, check whether
your container is suited for usage with the appliance.
Note:
To avoid germs from getting into your food, it is good advice to sterilize the container
and lid before filling in food. for this, you may use hot water (at least 80°c). However,
ensure that the container will tolerate the high temperature. after sterilization, do not
wipe the container but leave it dry naturally on a clean surface. When wiping with a
cloth, germs could get onto the surfaces of the container again.
1. ensure that the container and container lid are undamaged, airtight and completely
clean and dry.
2. fill your food into the container, leaving at least 2.5 cm (1 inch) of free space bet-
ween your food and the rim of the container. ensure keeping the rim of the container
and container lid clean and dry.
3. close the container with the container lid. Place the appliance onto a suitable sur-
face.
4. insert one end of the vacuum hose into the vacuum outlet of the appliance. Put the
other end onto the vacuum port of the container lid, pressing it down firmly to ensure
a tight fit. With a manually adjustable pressure valve at the container lid, ensure that
the valve is in the correct open position. otherwise, the appliance cannot evacuate
the container.
5. connect the appliance to the power supply. a cracking noise is heart. This is nor-
mal. close the lid of the appliance.
6. Press the start/on button to switch on the appliance. The display is illuminated with
the default sealing time (seal Time) and evacuating time (Vac Time).
7. Press the function selection buttons, until the indicator arrow is pointing to canisTer.
sealing time and evacuating time will be set to 0 automatically.
Note:
With the canisTer function, you cannot adjust the sealing time (seal Time) or eva-
cuating time (Vac Time). The vacuum pump will work until a pre-programmed low
pressure is reached. Then the appliance will stop operation automatically. The contai-
ner will be sealed via the valve in the container lid. There is no need for any entries.
8. Press the start/on button to start operation. The appliance will operate the vacuum
