Before starting a vacuum sealing function, ensure that the vacuum chamber and drip
tray are completely empty. Always ensure that the vacuum pump will not suck in any
liquids. If liquids are sucked in, immediately cancel the evacuation by pressing
the STOP button to avoid risk of electric shock, overheating, and damage.
The appliance is equipped with an overheat protection device that will switch off the
appliance automatically, when overheating occurs. In this case, unplug and wait 20
minutes with the lid left open, before attempting to re-activate the appliance again
(see: 'Properties of Your New Vacuum Sealer / Overheat Protection'). However, you
should not operate the appliance in continuous use. After each sealing cycle, make
a break of approx. 20 seconds, before starting the next sealing cycle.
CAUTION
the appliance locks the lid to the base automatically. Before opening the lid,
always ensure that any previously started function is finished.
NOTE
You may cancel any running process at any time by pressing the STOP button.
However, regularly the appliance stops operation automatically as soon as the
selected function is complete.

EMPTYING THE DRIP TRAY

CAUTION

1. Open the lid and take the drip tray out of the vacuum chamber. Remove any
residues of liquids or powders in the drip tray. If required, wash the drip tray in
warm dishwater. Then dry the drip tray thoroughly (see: 'Care and Cleaning').
2. Replace the drip tray into the vacuum chamber.

SEALING FOILS

Using the seal only button, you can seal foils without using the vacuum function.
