Durch Wassereinbruch kann in
Verbindung mit dem DiveSorb
eine Lauge entstehen, die unter
Umständen eingeatmet werden
kann und zu Verletzung der Atem-
wege und des Mund- und Ra-
chenraumes führen kann. Sollte
dieses geschehen, sofort mit kla-
rem Wasser ausspülen und einen
Arzt aufsuchen.
Befindet sich Wasser im System,
so nimmt der Abtrieb zu. Kompen-
sieren Sie dieses durch Belüften
Ihres Jackets.
Wenn Sie die Funktion der Dosie-
rung grob während des Tauch-
gangs prüfen wollen, dann schlie-
ßen Sie das Mischgas- Flaschen-
ventil und betrachten gleichzeitig
das Manometer. Nun muß die
Druckanzeige stetig abfallen.
Wenn Sie diesen Druckabfall bis
ca. 40 bar beobachtet haben, öff-
nen Sie das Flaschenventil sofort
wieder vollständig. Dies ist jedoch
keine genaue Messung!
Warnung!
Nehmen Sie während dieser Prü-
fung niemals die Hand vom Misch-
gas- Flaschenventil und öffnen Sie
die Flasche sofort wieder vollstän-
dig.
Kontrollieren Sie während des
Tauchens in regelmäßigen Zeitab-
ständen Ihren Mischgasvorrat.
Wir empfehlen Ihnen das Dolphin
in Verbindung mit einem geeigne-
ten Nitrox-Tauchcomputer zu ver-
wenden, da diese Tauchcompu-
ter über eine akustische Rest-
druckwarnung verfügen. Durch
diese aktive Warneinrichtung er-
höhen Sie Ihre Sicherheit beim
Tauchen mit dem Dolphin.

During this test it is important to
always keep the gauge in your
hand, and immediately reopen the
valve entirely. Failure to do so will
almost
certainly
unconsciousness and drowning
as the gas miture becomes
increasingly low in oxygen.
Whilst diving check your mixed
gas supply regularly. We recom-
mend to use the Dolphin together
with a suitable nitrox diving com-
puter. These computers have an
integrated acoustic device to warn
you, if your pressure is comming
below an adjustable value. This
active warning will increase your
safety.
Ascending with the Dolphin.
As with any buoyancy compensa-
tor, the Dolphin is not meant to be
an express elevator, taking you up
and down the water column. Fill it
only with short puffs of air from
the power inflator, being careful to
have the dump valve within easy
reach to control your ascent.
Always ascend with one hand on
the dump valve, to allow yourself
a slow, normal ascent to the sur-
face. Remember, volume in any
closed air space will double bet-
ween 33'/10m and the surface, so
pay particular attention to your
buoyancy and rate of ascent
during this period.
The same caution should be app-
lied when using a drysuit with the
