Atembeutel auf einwandfreien
Zustand prüfen.
Die Kalkpatrone mit den beiden
Anschlußstutzen nach oben in das
Gerätegehäuse stellen, der Text
auf der Kalkpatrone muß dabei
aus Richtung Mischgasflasche zu
lesen sein, bei den Kalkpatronen
der neueren Generation muß sich
aus Richtung der Mischgasfla-
sche gesehen der rote Stecker
der Patrone links befinden und die
Richtungspfeile auf dem Patro-
nengehäuse müssen sichtbar
sein. Den Ausatembeutel mit
Steckanschluß (Steckanschluß
mit roter Taste) an die Gaseintritts-
öffnung der Kalkpatrone (Stutzen
mit zusätzlichem roten O-Ring)
montieren. Um den Anschluß vor-
nehmen zu können, müssen Sie
die Feder am Steckanschluß des
Beutels zur Mitte drücken.
Einatembeutel durch Steckan-
schluß mit der Gasaustrittsöff-
nung der Kalkpatrone verbinden.
Nun Atembeutel und Kalkpatrone
nach vorn klappen, so daß alles
flach in der Gehäuseschale liegt.
Beim Einbau müssen die Stutzen
der Kalkpatrone unter denen der
Atemschlauchanschlüsse der
Beutel liegen. Kalkpatrone nun
ganz in Richtung Flaschenspann-
gurt der Mischgasflasche schie-
ben und mit dem Kalkpatronen-
gurt sichern. (Bild 6.1.7)
Überdruckventil bis zum Anschlag
in die mittlere Gehäuseöffnung
schieben. Die Atemschlauchan-
schlüsse der Atembeutel von in-
nen durch die Gehäuseöffnungen
stecken (Bild 6.1.8) und mit den
Schraubringen sichern.

With the CO scrubber cartridges

of the new generation the red
connector must be on the left side,
when looking from the mixed gas
cylinder side. When the CO
scrubber is mounted you must
able to see the direction arrows
on the cartridge. Mount the
breathing bag connector (which
is the connector with the red but-
ton) to the gas inlet of the CO
scrubber cartridge (with additio-
nal red O-ring). To do this, push
the spring of the cartridge connec-
tion in the middle.
Next, attach the inhalation bag to
the gas inlet of the CO
2
cartridge. Now turn the breathing
bags and the CO scrubber cart-

ridge down, so that the parts lie
flat in the shell. When assembling
the unit, it is important to remem-
ber that the connectors of the CO
scrubber cartridge must lay under-
neath the breathing connectors of
the breathing bags.
Next, push the CO scrubber cart-

ridge towards the cylinder holding
strap and fasten it with a cartridge
strap as seen in Figure 6.1.7.
Push the pressure valve into the
housing opening located in the
middle until it is secure.
Insert the breathing hose connec-
tors from the breathing bags into
the housing openings from the in-
side (Figure 6.1.8) and fasten with
swivel nuts. Make sure the small
screws and the breathing bag
connectors match the holes in the
shell.
