Das Dolphin sollte mindestens ein-
mal jährlich (bei häufigem Ge-
brauch in kürzeren Abständen)
durch geschultes Fachpersonal
auf Beschaffenheit und einwand-
freie Funktion überprüft werden,
damit die Einsatzbereitschaft zu
jeder Zeit gewährleistet ist.
Um die Einsatzbereitschaft des
Gerätes aufrecht zu erhalten, soll-
ten Sie von Zeit zu Zeit:
Die O-Ringe an den Verbindungs-
stücken der Kalkpatrone zu den
Atembeuteln, sowie den O-Ring
am Anschluß des Bypaßventils
zum Atembeutel leicht mit Moly-
kote 111 einfetten.
Das Mundstückventil gründlichst
unter fließendem Leitungswasser
spülen, während Sie das Ventil
hin- und herbewegen. Trocknen
Sie das Ventil und fetten Sie es
neu mit Molykote 111 ein. Füllen
Sie dann etwas Fett in eine 5 ml
Spritze. Bringen Sie das Ventil in
die Stellung "geschlossen" und
spritzen in die in Bild 7.1 angege-
benen Bereiche kleine Mengen
Fett, öffnen und schließen Sie das
Ventil mehrmals und spritzen Sie
dann wieder etwas Fett an die
bezeichneten Stellen und wieder-
holen Sie den Vorgang.
Die Innenseiten der Atem-
schlauchenden, die an die Atem-
beutel angeschlossen werden,
ganz dünn mit etwas Molykote
111 einreiben. Vorher sind die
entsprechenden Bereiche jedoch
sorgfältig zu reinigen.
Die Atemschläuche vom Mund-
stück entfernen, die O-Ringdicht-
fläche auf beiden Seiten des
Mundstückes und die O-Ring-Sit-

use your Dolphin frequently, you
should have it serviced more
frequently.
As part of the general service that
you can perform, regularly lubri-
cate the O-rings at the connec-
tors of the cartridge to the
breathing bags and the O-ring at
the bypass valve connector to the
breathing bag with the lubricant
Molykote 111.
The mouthpiece valve should be
lubricated with the lubricant Mo-
lykote 111 as well, but only after
making sure it has been
thoroughly cleaned. After that, fill
a 5 ml syringe with the same
lubricant. Put the mouthpiece
valve in the closed position, and
apply some lubricant to those
areas shown in Figure 7.1. Open
and close the valve several times,
and apply some more lubricant
and repeat the same procedure.
Apply a thin layer of Molykote 111
to the inside of the breathing hose
ends, after first making sure that
they are thoroughly clean.
Then remove the breathing hoses
from the mouthpiece, thoroughly
cleaning the O-ring sealing
surface on both sides of the
mouthpiece, as well as the O-rings
at both breathing hose connec-
tors. Lubricate the sealing surface
and the O-ring seat with the same
lubricant.
To disassemble the breathing
hose, push the rubber gaskets at
the mouthpiece aside with your
