Handhabung und Gebrauch
Vor der weiteren Montage: Kalk-
staub durch Ausschütteln und
Durchpusten der Kalkpatrone in
beide Richtungen entfernen.

Baugruppenmontage
Atemschläuche auf richtige Funk-
tion der Richtungsventile überprü-
fen. Mundstückventil öffnen. Das
Mundstück wird bei neuen Gerä-
ten mit einer großen Menge Fett
ausgeliefert, so daß bei neuen
Geräten das Mundstück bei den
ersten Öffnungs- und Schließbe-
wegungen noch schwergängig
sein kann. Beim Atmen durch das
Mundstück muß sich beim Ein-
und Ausatmen das jeweilige Rich-
tungsventil im entsprechenden
Atemschlauch leicht öffnen.
Beim Ansaugen am Atembeutel-
ende des Einatemschlauches
(Bild 6.1.5), sowie beim Ansau-
gen am Mundstück unter gleich-
zeitigem Dichthalten des offenen
Einatemschlauchendes, darf kein
Gas nachströmen.
Warnung!
Versuchen Sie nicht mit dem Dol-
phin zu tauchen, wenn Undichtig-
keiten bei den oben beschriebe-
nen Prüfungen aufgetreten sind.
Sollte es Ihnen nicht möglich sein
die aufgetretenen Undichtigkeiten
durch Demontage und erneute
Montage zu beheben ist es not-
wendig das gesamte Gerät zur
Reparatur bei einem autorisierten
Dolphin- Händler gebracht wer-
den. Diese Warnung ist unbedingt
Handling and Use
of the directional valves by open-
ing the mouthpiece valve. When
breathing through the mouthpiece,
note that the directional valve and
the respective breathing hose
open and close during inhalation
and exhalation. Note also that the
mouthpiece of new units can be a
bit stiff at first. By working the
mechanism a few times, it will
become more thoroughly lubrica-
ted and should be easier to use.
When inhaling at the breathing
bag end of the inhalation hose
(see Figure 6.1.5), and when in-
haling through the mouthpiece
while sealing the open inhalation
hose, there must be no gas flow.
If you notice any gas leakages at
all, carefully reassemble the unit
and repeat the above procedure.
If you still suspect a leak, bring the
unit in to your authorized Dolphin
distributor for inspection.
Warning!
Do not attempt to use the Dolphin
if there are any leaks while perfor-
ming the above described inhala-
tion checks. If you cannot stop any
suspected leaks by disassembly
and reassembly, you must bring
the entire unit to your authorized
Dolphin distributor for inspection
and/or repair before use. Failure
to do so could lead to serious
personal injury or death.
Once you are confident the
breathing hose assembly has
been properly assembled and is
functioning correctly, check the
breathing bag for proper function.
To do this, place the CO
ber cartridge into the housing with
the breathing bag connector fa-
cing upwards. You must be able
