gas- Druckflasche und Druckmin-
derer darf nicht gefettet werden,
bzw. nicht mit Fett oder Öl in Be-
rührung kommen, "Explosionsge-
fahr".

Gerät bei geschlossener Misch-
gasflasche vollständig leeratmen
und Ventilmundstück schließen.
Der zusammengepreßte Atem-
beutel darf sich nicht entspannen.
Atembeutel ca. 30 sec beobach-
ten. Sollten sich die Atembeutel
dennoch entspannen, überprüfen
Sie, ob die Mischgasflasche rich-
tig geschlossen ist. Ist sie es, dür-
fen Sie das Dolphin auf keinen Fall
betauchen bis der Fehler durch
eine ausgebildete Service- Stati-
on behoben worden ist.

Bypaßventil prüfen
Flaschenventil öffnen und am ge-
öffneten Mundstück Gas ansau-
gen und durch die Nase ausat-
men. Nachdem die Atembeutel
vollständig entleert sind, muß beim
weiteren Ansaugen permanent
Gas durch das Bypaßventil nach-
geliefert werden. Das Bypaßven-
til muß dabei soviel Gas nachlie-
fern, wie Sie ansaugen.

Check cylinder

Open cylinder valve and check
submersible pressure gauge rea-
ding (Figure 6.1.11).
Check bail out cylinder pres-
sure. Open cylinder valve and
check submesible pressure
gauge reading.
Check bypass valve
Open the cylinder valve and inha-
le the nitrox from the open mouth-
piece. When the breathing bags
are completely emptied, nitrox
must be supplied through the by-
pass valve during inhalation. The
bypass valve must supply as much
gas as is inhaled. If not, double
check the assembly of the regula-
tor to the Nitrox cylinder valve,
making sure the valve is comple-
tely open. If the regulator still does
not supply as much gas as is inha-
led, return the Dolphin for repair
at a trained repair facility before
using it.
Leak test under
positive pressure
Open the flaps at the back of the
Dolphin. Set the relief valve to
maximum response pressure by
turning it all the way on (clock-
wise), then fill the breathing circuit
by means of the nitrox cylinder or
mouthpiece. Shut the cylinder
valve or mouthpiece and put ap-
