In most vehicles, the cables for the electric connection and the connection of the speakers have
been laid directly to the slot.
If this is not the case, please make sure that any cables placed later are secured by the respec-
tive on-board fuses (see vehicle operation manual).
a) Aerial Connection
• Connect the aerial plug of your vehicle with the aerial socket at the back of the radio (socket next to the
cinch terminals).
• If your vehicle has a different aerial plug, please use a suitable adapter, available in specialist shops.
b) Connecting the LINE Outputs
The car radio has LINE outputs for connecting a power amplifier.
For the connection of the cinch sockets only use the shielded cinch wires. Use of any other
cables may cause interferences.
Keep the distance of the cables as short as possible.
Do not place the cables near other cables to avoid interferences in the cables.
To avoid distortions or mismatching that could damage the device, cinch connector must only
be connected to devices with the suitable cinch terminals.
Connect the cinch sockets at the rear of the casing to the power amplifier inputs.
The red socket is a terminal for the right channel
The white socket is a terminal for the left channel
c) Connection AUX
You can connect an external audio device (e.g. portable MP3 player) to the port AUX (18) whose signal is
played back via the speakers.
Connect the port AUX (18) with the audio output of the external device.
d) Connection of the Speakers and the Power Supply
Vehicles equipped with an ISO plug can be connected directly to the ISO connection terminal if the plug
assignment is the same (please check beforehand!). If the plug assignment differs, use a vehicle-specific
adapter from a vendor for connection.
Please refer to the following figures for the contact assignment of the ISO connection socket of the car
radio. Please ask your car dealer for the respective assignment of your vehicle system plug.
