A/PS / MP3 button (8)
• Keep this button pushed to activate automatic station search. All stations that can be received well are
automatically stored for the station buttons 1-6 (4).
After this procedure, the stored stations are played for a few seconds.
• Push this button only briefly to play a few seconds of all saved stations (same function as after automatic
station storage).
To permanently play back a transmitter, push the button A/PS /MP3 (8) again briefly.
PTY search
The PTY search is a station search that receives only stations with a specified programme type ID (PTY).
• Push the button MD / MODE (5) until the display (10) shows a programme type.
• Push the button MD /MODE (5) again, but only briefly, to switch between the contents music or speech.
• Push one of the station buttons to select the desired programme type. To get to the respective second or
third programme type from the list below, push the respective station button again.
• A few seconds after a programme type has been selected, the PTY search starts automatically.
• The search stops at the next station that transmits the selected programme type. If no station with the
selected programme type can be found, the display will show PTY NONE.
