Setup Menu - Kathrein MSK 115 Betriebsanleitung

To display the "Setup" menu, switch the MSK 115 off and then press the DOWN key once.
The following menu items can be called from this menu.
• The following languages are available for menu items and display information: English, French, Spanish,
Italian, German, Dutch and Polish
• The RF can be displayed in dBµV mode or linear mode
• The numerical BER display can be set up so that only "Found" is displayed
• BER can be measured in linear form with higher sensitivity, or logarithmically
• You can switch from C/N measurement to the MER display. Depending on this setting, the results are
displayed as C/N (Carrier-to-noise ratio) or MER (Modulation error rate)
• The LNB voltage 13/18 Volt can be switched off completely. If the LNB voltage is switched to 0 Volt,
the satellite display alternates between the selected satellite setting and "LNB 0V"
• To revert to the original setup settings, select "Factory settings" and press the RIGHT button.
This procedure does not clear down the satellite settings received in the memory.
• The display "1.0Ka-0027" may vary; it is intended only as a Kathrein reference number and has no
operational signifi cance for the measuring instrument.

SETUP MENU

You can scroll up and down the setup menu by pressing the UP and
DOWN cursor buttons, and you can change the values by pressing the
LEFT and RIGHT buttons. After you have performed all the settings,
return to the fi rst menu item (Exit). Press the LEFT or RIGHT button to
load your changes. The measuring instrument now switches itself off.
Comment: The entire menu is shown here, whilst on the LCD
display there are only ever four options shown at a time.
