Electrical connection cables must comply with the ap-
plicable VDE and DIN provisions. Only use connection
cables of the same designation.
The printing of the type designation on the connection
cable is mandatory.
Connection type Y
If it is necessary to replace the mains connection ca-
ble, this must be done by the manufacturer or their rep-
resentative to avoid safety hazards.
10.2 AC motor
• Before commissioning, ensure that the mains volt-
age matches with the operating voltage on the type
plate.
• Extension cables up to 25 m long must have a
cross-section of 1.5 mm².
• Connections and repair work on the electrical equip-
ment may only be carried out by electricians.
11. Cleaning and maintenance
m WARNING
Pull out the mains plug before carrying out any clean-
ing or maintenance work! Danger of injury due to elec-
tric shocks!
m WARNING
Wait until the product has cooled down completely!
Danger of burning!
m WARNING
Depressurise the product before carrying out any
cleaning or maintenance work! Danger of injury!
11.1 Cleaning the product
• Keep protective devices, air vents and the motor
housing as free of dust and dirt as possible. Rub the
product clean with a clean cloth or blow it off with
compressed air at low pressure.
• We recommend that you clean the product directly
after every use.
• Clean the product at regular intervals using a damp
cloth and a little soft soap. Do not use any cleaning
products or solvents; they could attack the plastic
parts of the product.
• Make sure that no water can penetrate the interior of
the product. Water penetration increases the risk of
an electric shock.

• The hose and injection tools must be disconnect-
ed from the compressor before cleaning. The com-
pressor must not be cleaned with water, solvents
or similar.
11.2 Air filter maintenance (Fig. 11)
The air filter prevents dust and dirt being sucked in. It
is necessary to clean the air filter at least every 300
operating hours. A blocked air filter significantly reduc-
es the compressor power.
Proceed as follows:
1.
Remove the air filter cover (1) by removing the
screw (1c). Use a Phillips screwdriver (not included
in the scope of delivery).
2.
Remove the air filter (1a).
3.
Carefully tap out the air filter cover (1), air filter (1a)
and air filter housing (1b).
4.
Replace a defective air filter (1a) with a new one.
5.
Insert the air filter (1a) in the air filter housing (1b)
and use the screw (1c) to fit the air filter cover (1).
11.3 Maintaining the pressure vessel (fig. 12)
ATTENTION
To ensure a long service life for the pressure vessel,
drain off the condensate after each use by opening the
drain screw.
ATTENTION
The condensate from the pressure vessel contains oil
residue. Dispose of the condensate in accordance with
local and national environmental regulations. Ensure
that it is not discharged into the wastewater system.
1.
Release the vessel pressure as described in sec-
tion 12.1.
2.
Open the drain screw (7) by turning it anti-clock-
wise (looking at the screw from the bottom of the
compressor).
3.
In order to drain the condensation water complete-
ly out of the pressure vessel (5), it must be tilted
slightly to the side so that the drain screw (7) is
the lowest point.
4.
Then close the drain screw (7) again (turn it clockwise).
Check the pressure vessel (5) for rust and damage
each time before use.
5.
The compressor shall not be operated if the pres-
sure vessel is damaged or rusty. If you discover
damage, please contact the customer service
workshop.
