In the case of an RB 170 with
hydraulic re-heating register or
when deployed in passive-energy
houses, an NTC 15 has to be
installed additionally, in order to
provide protection against icing,
caused by the supply air being too
cold. The ventilation unit then
switches off at supply air tempera-
tures of less than 5 °C.
Only in Comfort and Bypass units
when deploying a supply air tem-
perature sensor:
Remove the resistor on GW1 circuit
board at the KL2 terminals.
