SOLVING PROBLEMS

If any problems occur during operation, you will find the solution in the following
table.
Problem
The Motor will not
work when switched
"ON".

Reason
The appliance is not live.
The appliance is not assembled cor-
rectly. Safety interlocks prevent the
motor from starting.
The safety devices switched OFF
the motor.
There is a severe problem.
The Solution
Ensure that the appliance is connected to a suitable
wall power outlet. Ensure that the wall power outlet is
live by connecting a lamp.
The safety locking arm is not engaged correctly in the
vertical operating position and located into the two
grooves on either side of the juice cover.
Switch OFF and unplug the appliance. Check the over-
load protection button on the bottom of the motor
base. If required, allow at least 15 minutes for the
motor to cool down. Then press the overload protec-
tion button.
Switch OFF and unplug the appliance. Allow at
least 15 minutes for the motor to cool down. If the
START/STOP button flashes red, the self-resetting
safety devices have still not been reset. Simply wait
some more time.
Immediately switch OFF and unplug the appliance.
