Always grasp the plug to disconnect the power cord. Do not touch the appliance
or power plug with wet hands with the appliance connected to the power supply.
• Do not place or immerse the motor base or power cord in water or any other
liquid. DO NOT spill or drip any liquids on the motor base or on the power cord
to avoid risk of fire and electric shock. When liquids have come into contact with
the motor base or power cord or accumulate under the motor base, immediately
unplug the appliance. Thereafter, clean the appliance and let it dry for at least 1
day (see: 'Care and Cleaning').
• Do not place the motor base or the power cord in an automatic dish-
washer.

purpose, the appliance is equipped with extremely sharp blades rotating on high
speed. Thus, improper handling could cause severe injuries and damage. Please
keep this in mind.
• The feed chute is designed exceedingly large. Never put fingers, spoons or other
foreign objects (such as hair, clothing, brushes, cloths) into the feed chute when
the appliance is connected to the power supply. Always switch OFF the appliance
(press START/STOP button), wait for the motor to stop moving and then unplug
the appliance before taking off the juicer cover.
• Do not attempt to operate the appliance using any other than the designated
parts. Always unplug the motor base before cleaning the motor base. Do not lea-
ve the motor base unattended while connected to the power supply.
• Due to vibrations during operation the appliance may move around on the table
or counter. Thus, always ensure to keep the appliance in sufficient distance to the
edge of the table or counter and to other objects. Leave at least 20 cm of free
space on each side.
• Only use the provided pusher to push food through the feed chute. Never hold
your face or other body parts over the feed chute when the motor is running,
because little pieces of food could be thrown out of the feed chute.
• The blades on the bottom of the filter basket and inside the feed chu-
