damage, risk of fire, and electric shock.
Note:
Filter surround, juicer cover, filter basket, pulp container and juice jug with juice
jug lid are dishwasher safe (see above: 'Cleaning in the Automatic Dishwasher').
Note:
To assist with cleaning, soak dried-on food in warm dishwater for approx. 10
minutes. Especially the filter basket can be cleaned with less effort, when soaked
in warm dishwater for approximately 10 minutes immediately after juicing is com-
pleted. If pulp is left to dry on the micro-mesh it may clog the fine holes thereby
lessening the effectiveness of the juicer.
1. After disassembling the appliance, wash all removable parts in warm dishwater
using a soft dishcloth or nylon brush. Then rinse well and dry thoroughly.
2. For consistent juicing results always ensure that the filter basket is thoroughly clea-
ned using the supplied nylon brush. Handle the filter basket with care to avoid inju-
ries caused by the blades and damage to the micro-mesh. Hold the filter basket by
the rim. Using the provided nylon brush, hold the filter basket under running water
and brush from the inside of the basket to the outer rim until all food is removed.
3. Hold the filter basket up to the light to ensure that the micro-mesh is not blocked.
Note:
If the holes are blocked and food dried on the surfaces, soak the filter basket in
warm water with 10% lemon juice to loosen the blockage, or clean the filter bas-
ket in the automatic dishwasher. Alternatively you can soak the filter basket in hot
water with dental prosthesis detergent. Then brush with the provided nylon brush
until all residues are removed.
Rinse all removable parts thoroughly with clear water.
Wipe dry all parts. Leave the parts dry naturally for approx. 1/2 hour where they
are out of reach of young children.
Always assemble the appliance completely before storing (see:
IMPORTANT:
´Assembling the Appliance`). This way, you prevent the blades from getting touched
unintentionally and the parts cannot get lost.
