appliance connected to the power supply. Always unplug the appliance, before
assembling or disassembling, or cleaning the appliance, and when the appliance is
not in use. Do not leave the motor base unattended while connected to the
power supply. Always ensure to assemble the appliance completely and
correctly, before connecting the appliance to the power supply.
Check the entire appliance for proper operation before assembling and connecting
it to the power supply. Ensure that there are no dried-on residues of food clogging
the fine holes of the micro-mesh filter basket. If necessary, remove any blockage (see:
'Care and Cleaning'). Otherwise, the appliance will not work properly and could
get damaged. If any liquids run out onto the motor base during operation, immedi-
ately unplug the appliance (see: ‚Solving Problems'). Do not use violence.
Place the appliance on a firm, flat, stable, and dry surface. Do not place the appli-
ance near the edge of the working space.
To avoid overheating, do not operate the motor continuously for more than 7
minutes. On heavy load (e.g. via hard, fibrous food), do not operate the appli-
ance continuously for more than 1 minute. Make intermediate brakes of at least 10
minutes. If the motor gets stuck or agitates noticeably slow, stop operation immedi-
ately (press the START/STOP button), and unplug the appliance. Then remove the
obstacle in the feed chute and/or filter basket (see: 'Care and Cleaning'). Reduce
the amount of food in the feed chute and reduce the pressure on the pusher.
To avoid overflow, before filling a new portion of food into the feed chute, ensure
that the juice jug and pulp container are able to take another portion. Ensure that the
pulp outlet is not clogged. Divide up your food into appropriate portions.
Do not use any hard or edged objects (e.g. knives, metal scrapers) with the appli-
ance to avoid damage to the surfaces and blades. Always remove inedible and
extremely hard parts (e.g. stones, stalks, hard shells) before processing to avoid
damage to the blades.
