Een diagnose-toerenteller moet voor deze pro-
cedure worden gebruikt. De resultaten kunnen
verschillen naargelang de tests worden uitge-
voerd met de uitspoelinrichting, in een test-
tank, of met de buitenboordmotor in het water.
1) Start de motor en laat hem volledig warm
draaien in neutrale stand tot hij heel gelijk-
matig draait. Als de buitenboordmotor op
een boot gemonteerd is, zorg dan dat deze
boot goed vastligt.
2) Ga na of het stationair toerental volgens de
richtlijnen is ingesteld. Raadpleeg voor het
juiste toerental de "Technische gegevens"
in dit hoofdstuk.
OPMERKING:
Een controle van het juiste stationaire toerental
is slechts mogelijk als de motor volledig is
opgewarmd. Als dat niet het geval is, zal de
toerentalinstelling hoger dan normaal zijn. Als
u problemen hebt met het controleren van het
stationaire toerental, of het stationaire toerental
dient te worden bijgesteld, raadpleeg dan een
Yamaha-dealer of een andere bekwame meca-
nicien.

AANWEZIGHEID VAN WATER
Op de bodem van de motorolietank zit een ver-
gaarbak. Als water of vreemde materialen in
deze bak zichtbaar zijn, raadpleeg dan een
Yamaha-dealer.

tuno utilizzare un contagiri diagnostico. I risul-
tati possono variare a seconda che il test sia
eseguito utilizzando il dispositivo di lavaggio,
la vasca di prova, o con il motore fuoribordo in
acqua.
1) Avviare il motore e farlo riscaldare bene in
folle fino a quando non marcia in modo
regolare. Se il motore fuoribordo è monta-
to su una barca, accertarsi che questa sia
ben ormeggiata.
2) Controllare se il minimo è regolato in base
alle specifiche. Per le specifiche del mini-
mo, vedi "Specifiche" in questo stesso
capitolo.
NOTA:
Un corretto controllo del minimo è possibile
soltanto se il motore è caldo. Se il riscaldamen-
to è stato insufficiente, alla misurazione il mini-
mo risulterà più alto del normale. Qualora risul-
ti difficile controllare il minimo oppure esso
debba essere regolato, consultare un conces-
sionario Yamaha o un meccanico qualificato.

CONTROLLO DELL'ACQUA NEL
SERBATOIO DELL'OLIO MOTORE
Sotto il serbatoio dell'olio motore si trova un
separatore d'acqua. Se al suo all'interno sono
visibili corpi estranei oppure acqua, consultare
un concessionario Yamaha.
