Faults

No function at the REHM operating panel
The digital display instrument shows nothing and none of the LEDs is lit.
Cause:
Mains voltage missing (fuse may be blown)
Failure in the mains power cable or connector
Unit has different parameters on start
than on switch off.
Cause:
Values are only saved after the welding process
has been completed.
Fans cannot be heard to be turning.
Cause:
The fan level is adjusted to suit requirements, at
temperatures the fan will turn at lower
low
revolutions or switch off.
Fan is defective..
Welding current does not reach the specified value
or arc does not burn.
Cause:
Grounding cable connected badly.
No shielding gas or wrong shielding gas
Arc flickers and jumps,

7.1

Safety instructions

Warning!
In the event of a fault which may endanger persons, machinery or the
surrounding area, deactivate the unit immediately and ensure that it cannot
be reactivated.
Only restart the unit when the cause of the fault has been eliminated and
no further risk is posed to people, machinery and/or surrounding area.
Faults should only be eliminated by qualified personnel and all safety notes
should be observed.  Chapter 2
The unit must be released for use by qualified personnel before being
restarted.
