WIG welding
Comfortable WIG DC welding with contact ignition and 4-step function,
optional with integrated gas management.
ICS (Ignition Command System)
The sophisticated processor control allows an optimum adjustment of the
ignition power – both with bar electrodes and with lift arc ignition of the WIG
DC arc – simply and easy.
Remote control connector
Each BOOSTER.PRO 250 and 320 is equipped with a remote control
connector as standard. You may use the manual remote control or a
potentiometer integrated in the electrode holder.
Maximum power efficiency
The REHM Bi-Power inverter is particularly effective at work. Smart power
management makes this power available on an as-needed-basis. This
means, the welding current supply provides the power only when you put the
electrode onto the work piece. After welding, the power supply is switched
back to Standby with a short delay.
Reduced noise emissions
The temperature controlled staged fan operation automatically ensures the
optimum cooling power and reduces the noise emission.
Generator compatibility
More flexibility in mobile use, for example, on building sites.

Intended use

REHM welding units are designed to weld various metals such as non-alloyed
and alloyed steel, stainless steel and aluminium. You should also observe the
special regulations pertaining to your area of application.
REHM welding units are designed for use with hand-controlled and machine-
controlled operations.
REHM welding units are, unless explicitly permitted in writing by REHM, only for
sale to commercial and industrial users and only for use by such. They may only
be operated by people trained in the use and maintenance of welding units.
Welding current supplies may not be set up in areas with increased risk of
electrical accidents.
These operating instructions contain rules and guidelines for the intended use of
your unit. Intended use is only ensured when these rules and guidelines are
adhered to. Risks and damaged caused as a result of a different type of use are
the responsibility of the operator. In case of special requirements, it may be
necessary to consider other additional conditions as well.
If you are in doubt, consult your safety officer or contact REHM's customer
service department.
You should also pay attention to the special notes regarding intended use set out
in the delivery documentation.
