19. FUEL OIL CONSUMER INSTALLATION DECOMMISSIONING
For the decommissioning of fuel oil consumer installations, proceed as follows:
• Switch the operation and heating main switch off
• Close the oil shut-off device
If both sides of the line are blocked, the pressure may rise due to temperature-related
changes in the volume of the fuel oil. For longer periods of decommissioning, e.g. for
fuel oil consumer installations without water heating, we recommend the installation
of safety equipment to protect against overpressure in suction lines, e.g. pressure
compensation valve type DAV7 part no. 15 550 00 or pressure compensation valve
type DAV7P part no. 15 550 15 to protect against overpressure in pressure lines.
For decommissioning in seasons with a risk of frost, the fuel oil consumer installation should
be properly emptied.
20. DISPOSAL
To protect the environment, our products may not be disposed of along with
household waste. In order to protect the environment, our products may not be
disposed of along with household waste and products contaminated with
water-hazardous substances or that have come in contact with such
substances must not be disposed of in the domestic waste, to public waters or
channels.
The product must be disposed of via local collection stations or a recycling station.
