10. Maintenance

a) General Information
Regularly check the technical safety of the tyre pressure monitoring system, e.g. for leaks at the sensors.
If it can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, the device must be turned off and precautions are to be
taken to ensure that it is not used unintentionally.
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
• the display unit or sensors have visible damage
• the system does not work anymore or
• following considerable stress during transportation

b) Change of the Sensor Batteries

The batteries in the sensors have a service life of about two years. If they are discharged, the display will show the
battery icon for the sensors (7). Remove the sensor batteries in this case.
• Open the safety screws and remove the sensors from the valves.
• Unscrew the cover caps from the sensors. For this you can use the tool included in the delivery for changing the
sensor batteries.
• Remove the discharged button cells and replace them with new 3V-Lithium button cells of type CR1632. Insert the
button cells into the battery holder as shown in the figures. The plus pole of the button cells must point up here.
