b) Assembly of the Sensors

• The sensor batteries are protected from discharge in transit by foils. Remove these foils before installing the sen-
sors.
• Screw the black cover caps from the sensors and pull out the insulation foils. A more detailed description of this can
be found in the item „Maintenance - Change of the Sensor Batteries" below in these instructions.
• Please observe that the display unit must be activated before assembly of the sensors since it registers the sensor
data while the sensors are screwed onto the valves.
• The enclosed sensors were already encoded on the system screen. They are labelled with the corresponding figures.
Please observe the associated assembly position of the sensors based on the following figure.
• Unscrew the valve protection caps of the tyre valves.
• Screw the sensors onto the tyre valves and secure them with the enclosed fastening screws. Two matching assembly
keys are enclose with the system.
• Check for tight fit of the sensors after installation by pouring some water over the sensors and the valves. No air
bubbles must be formed.
The scope of delivery contains 4 spare sensor seals (the smaller sealing rings).
• After assembly, all sensors must be registered at the display unit. You will recognise this by every tyre being assigned
one measured value display now.
It is recommended to have the wheels re-balanced after sensor assembly since the sensor weights may
cause imbalance.
