8. Installation

Any changes in the vehicle that become necessary for the installation of the system or other com-
ponents must be carried out in such a way that neither traffic security nor the stability of the car
are affected.
No parts must be installed in the airbag trigger area because this may cause injury to the vehicle
passengers in case of accident.
If there are any doubts regarding selection of the installation site, inquire for information from your
car vendor.
When installing your system, take into consideration the risk of accident which can arise from
devices being torn away in the case of an accident. Therefore, you should secure every component
in a place where it cannot be dangerous to passengers.
The driver's vision must not be impaired by installation of the display unit.
When installing the sensors, observe that the valves and their threads are not damaged. The sensors
must only be tightened hand-tight; do not use any tools for such, this as pliers, etc.

a) Display Unit Installation

• Attach the display unit inside the vehicle with the enclosed double-sided adhesive type.
• The display unit should be placed so that the driver can read and operate it easily.
• Push the small plug of the connection line into the connection for the power supply (5) and connect the other plug
to the vehicle's cigarette lighter.
• When the cigarette lighter of your vehicle is switched by the ignition, it must be activated to supply the display unit
with power.
• Keep the button DOWN / ON/OFF (2) pushed until a beep sounds and the display unit comes on.
