4. Safety Information

In case of damage caused by non-compliance with these operating instructions, the warranty/gu-
arantee will expire. We do not assume liability for any consequential damage.
Nor do we assume any liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by improper use
or failure to observe the safety instructions. In such cases the warranty/guarantee will expire.
Dear Customer: The following safety information is intended not only for the protection of the device but
also for the protection of your health. Please read the following items carefully:
• For safety reasons, any unauthorized conversions and/or modifications to the product are not permitted.
Components may be damaged and thus impair the function or safety of the vehicle.
• The voltage source must be the 12/24 V direct voltage board mains (with the negative terminal of the
battery connected to the body of the vehicle). Never connect the product to a different power supply.
• Ensure proper commissioning of the system. Observe the operating instructions for it.
• The system is only intended as an additional monitor of the tyre condition. It does not relieve the driver
from his obligation to take care. Ensure that the driving safety is warranted at all times.
• Check the tyre pressure with a suitable manometer at regular intervals (e.g. at a gas station). The ma-
nufacturer does not assume any liability for damage due to a defective display.
• Regularly check the sensor and their screw connections on the valves at regular intervals. Let some
water run over the sensors through the valves to find any leaks.
• Never use any damaged or nonfunctional sensors. This may cause pressure loss in the tyre.
• Do not expose the display unit to any strong vibrations, humidity and high mechanical strain.
• Consult an expert when in doubt as to the operation, the safety or the connection of the system.
• This product is not a toy and not suitable for children. Children cannot judge the dangers involved when
handling electrical devices.
• Do not leave any packing material unattended. It may become a dangerous toy for children.
• Also observe the additional safety information in the individual chapters of these instructions.
• If you are not sure about the correct connection or if there are any questions that are not covered by the
operating instructions, do not hesitate to contact our technical support or another specialist.
