High-pressure flushing nozzle
Any contaminants flushed out of the sand traps of the connecting shafts must be
vacuumed away.
Warning!
Impact-prone equipment or chain throwers must not be used!
For RAUSIKKO throttle shafts, the smooth operation of the throttle valve must also
be checked:
▪ Loosen any stuck sliders by gently tapping them with a rubber mallet.
Warning!
This does not apply to sub-zero temperatures and / or frozen slides. In these cases,
the following applies:
Release the slide by applying heat (no open flame) up to a maximum of 80 °C.
▪ After removing the slide from the housing, remove any deposits and dirt, using a
high-pressure cleaner if necessary.
▪ With the valve removed, the throttle and infiltration pipes can be inspected and, if
necessary, high-pressure flushed.
▪ Do not use any lubricants when reinstalling the slide valve into the throttle body.
