03 Transport and storage

The RAUSIKKO Boxes are supplied stacked and strapped.
The stack can be unloaded using a forklift or wheel loader. To unload the Boxes the
forklift fork is inserted into the bottom Box of the stack. Unloading should be carried
out with care. The stack should not be knocked over or dropped.
For reasons of safety, we recommend transporting the pallets only individually at the
construction site.
Transport of a pallet with basic elements
The RAUSIKKO Boxes can be stored outside. They have to be placed on a level, firm
surface. The stack height should not exceed 2.65 m.
The maximum outdoor storage time is one year. The storage elements are to be
checked for damage before installation. Damaged elements must not be installed.
The boxes must be stored out of direct sunlight.
They can be stored in the shade or under a cover, however care must be taken to
avoid heat buildup under the cover.
Installation can only take place after the boxes have cooled to ambient temperature.
