06.07 Geotextiles

For the installation of a percolation system the box system is covered completely with
the RAUMAT non-woven separator and geotextile filter in order to prevent the
permeation of fine soil particles. The geotextile fabric should be laid diagonally to the
longitudinal axis of the trench.

Both ends of the geotextile channel are fastened temporarily to the edges of the
trench, the trench walls or the trench sheeting.

The geotextile is cut accordingly at pipe intersections.
Once the installation of the boxes is finished and all shaft connections are complete
the RAUMAT non-woven separator and geotextile filter are removed from the edges
of the trench and laid across the RAUSIKKO Boxes with a 0.5 m overlap at the
geotextile joints.
Essential:
The length of the geotextile channel =
= 2 x height + 2 x width + 0.50 m
overlap.
The overlap in the longitudinal direction
and on the front ends should also be
approx. 0.5 m.
