The insertion depth of the pipes may be at most 5 cm – in relation to the exterior
surface of the Box.
A vent is to be provided so that the air displaced when filling the soakaways or the
buffer tanks can escape. For this a ventilation plate with a DN 160 pipe spigot end is
to be positioned on the cover of a RAUSIKKO Box and temporarily affixed with cable
ties. An AWADUKT DN 160 basic sewer pipe is to be placed onto the ventilation plate,
routed to a RAUSIKKO C3 or AWASCHACHT and then fastened using an AWADOCK
connection branch.

Alternatively, ventilation is realised by means of a ventilation plate with a DN 350
spigot end, an unlacerated RAUSIKKO DN 350 pipe on top and a DN 400 cast cover
with ventilation.
