Implementation process:
▪ Visual inspection of freely accessible areas of the infiltration system (e.g. shafts)
▪ Camera inspection of the cleaning channel of the RAUSIKKO boxes
▪ If necessary, high-pressure flushing of the RAUSIKKO boxes' cleaning channel
▪ and dirt extraction from the shaft settling chambers
▪ Ensure entry in the maintenance log

09.03 Further inspections / cleaning
For RAUSIKKO box infiltration systems, all shafts, as well as the inlets and outlets
of the integrated inspection and flushing channels, are subject to semi-annual
inspection (in line with DWA-A 138-1).
Implementation analogous to "First inspection / cleaning".
09.04 Cleaning shafts and inlets
RAUSIKKO shafts, inlets, and drains of the cleaning channels should be inspected
after commissioning and subsequently every six months, as well as after heavy rain
and accidents, and any existing dirt should be removed.
If necessary, the flushing and distribution channels of the RAUSIKKO boxes can be
flushed with high pressures of up to 120 bar. Suitable options include flushing heads
according to the Hamburg model, described in RSV Data Sheet 1, with 4 + 4 nozzles
and a nozzle jet angle of 30°.
