For a direct connection of smooth-walled sewer pipes (e.g. AWADUKT PP) to a
RAUSIKKO Box MX / SX / HX, the corresponding RAUSIKKO connection adapters
DN 200 and DN 250 as well as a connection adapter DN 315 – 500 are available.
The pipe adapters DN 200 and 250 are mounted as follows:
1. The relevant side of the grill is to be sawed out with a fine-toothed saw
(e.g. jigsaw) along the cut edges dotted in green below.
2. The adapter is to be positioned at the centre of the sawed-out area and fastened
to the side grill with 4 wood screws (not included).
3. Next, the side grill is to be clipped onto the relevant RAUSIKKO Box MX / SX / HX.
The pipe adapter DN 315 – 500 is mounted as follows:
1. The adapter is to be cut open with a fine-toothed saw (e.g. jigsaw) according to the
desired diameter. The adapter shows circular cutting markers for DN 315, DN 400
and DN 500 connections. The adapter must be cut open along the markers so as
to ensure that the pipe to be put in can be inserted sufficiently deep.
2. The pipe adapter is then to be fastened to the corners of the RAUSIKKO Box 8.6
MX / SX / HX concerned with 4 wood screws (not included). A side grill should not
be mounted onto this box before this.
3. Next, the pipe connection of the adapter (spigot end) is to be coated with lubricant
and the sleeve of the sewer pipe to be connected is to be carefully put on.
