The device must not be opened. Unauthorised repairs or adjust-
ment are prohibited because any modification or adjustment may
result in the operating license being revoked and invalidate claims
under warranty. Do not use the device if it malfunctions.
The device can be externally cleaned by using a soft, lint-free, anti-
static cleaning cloth. Under no circumstances use scouring powder
or solvents.
Radiation
According to the latest information available, 500 mW devices pose
no danger whatsoever in terms of electrosmog or the like. Current
discussions regarding mobile phones are based on experiments
and measurements involving mobile phone outputs of typically 2 W
which is 4 times higher than that of PMR devices.
Remember that using devices which have a built-in antenna,
such as mobile phones, inside vehicles may have an adverse
effect on vehicle electronic systems. A driver who operates the
device while driving may endanger other road users and possi-
bly compromise his/her vehicle insurance cover.
Disposal
If the Pocket Com PMR Pro walkie-talkie is no longer useable, dis-
pose of it in accordance with the applicable statutory requirements.

5. Touche de confirmation [ENTER]/rétro-éclairage
A l'aide d'une courte pression sur la touche de confirmation
après la mise en service, le rétro-éclairage de l'écran est mis en
service pendant environ 6 secondes. Une nouvelle pression dé-
sactive le rétro-éclairage.
En appuyant et en maintenant la touche de confirmation ap-
puyée tout en mettant l'appareil en service (OFF/VOL), on accè-
de au menu actuel; à l'aide de la touche UP/DOWN, il est possi-
ble de modifier les paramètres du menu.
