Pour la programmation, procéder comme décrit au chapitre "CT-
CSS TONALITE SUB-AUDIO".
ATTENTION :
Le texte "DCS" (menu DCS) doit apparaître sur l'écran lorsque la
touche "F" (6) est enfoncée.
A présent, l'émetteur-récepteur ne reçoit / n'émet plus que les sig-
naux qui correspondent aux tonalités d'identification DCS sélec-
tionnées.
NOTA BENE : un canal ne peut être affecté que d'une tonalité
d'identification DCS ou d'une tonalité d'identification CTCSS, et
non des deux.
Au total, 83 tonalités d'identification DCS sont disponibles. Le ta-
bleau suivant indique les affectations.

Tips on using rechargeable NiCd batteries
• Before recharging batteries, make sure that they have been fully
discharged. The battery state of charge state indication on the
display flashes when the batteries are fully discharged.
• Make sure that batteries are fully recharged before use.
• Partially recharging batteries can have an adverse effect on their
performance after a while (memory effect).
• Store batteries in the discharged state if they are not to be used
for a relatively long time.
• Never fit batteries having different capacities in the device.
Operating the walkie-talkie
1. To switch the device on, turn the control knob "OFF/VOL" (on
topside of the device) from the left position in clockwise direc-
tion. The desired volume is selected by turning the knob in
clockwise direction. You are now ready to send and receive. Re-
ceive mode is indicated on the display by the symbol "RX".
2. Press the PTT (speaking) key to send. Talk into the built-in micro-
phone in a normal voice and observe a distance of 5 to 10 cm .
The send symbol "TX" appears on the display.
3. To return to the ready-to-receive state, simply release the PTT
key.
