Appel des canaux mémorisés
Une fois les réglages désirés effectués, les emplacements de mé-
morisation peuvent être appelés de la manière suivante :
• Appuyer sur la touche "F" (6) : jusqu'à ce que, à droite en bas de
l'écran, un numéro de mémorisation entre 1 et 9 apparaisse.
• Appeler un canal mémorisé à l'aide des touches "UP" et "DO-
WN".
• Si aucune mémorisation n'a été réalisée, le chiffre clignote sur
l'écran. Si une mémorisation a été effectuée, le chiffre reste im-
mobile sur l'écran.
• Pour quitter cette fonction, appuyer sur la touche "ENTER" (5) .
Nota !
Après mise hors service et remise en service de l'appareil, les mé-
morisations effectuées restent maintenues.
Fonction économie d'énergie
La fonction économie d'énergie s'active automatiquement pendant
le fonctionnement de l'appareil. Dès que l'appareil ne reçoit plus de
signal durant plus de 5 secondes, il passe au mode économie
d'énergie, qui réduit le besoin en énergie d'environ 50 % ; de cette
manière, le temps de veille de votre appareil sera plus long.

13. Battery compartment
The battery compartment at the rear of the device is opened
by releasing the battery compartment catch and lifting and
pulling off the battery cover. Place three "AA" type alkaline
batteries or rechargeable NiCd batteries in the battery com-
partment, making sure that the polarities are correct. The wal-
kie-talkie has an energy-saving function: if no signal is recei-
ved for a period of 6 seconds, the device activates the energy-
saving function (SAVE appears on the display) to reduce po-
wer consumption by roughly 50%.
14. Call key [CALL]
When the Call key is pressed, the device switches from recei-
ve to transmit and sends a calling tone which is received by
the partner station (assuming it is set to the same channel)
which signals that it is being called (in the same way as a tele-
phone rings).
15. Manual send button [PTT]
Press the PTT button (speaking key) to switch the device from
the receive mode to the send mode. If this key is released, we
switch back to the receive mode. For sending "TX" (send dis-
play) and for receiving "RX" (receive display) appear on the
display.
16. Monitor key [MON]
Briefly pressing the MON key deactivates noise suppression
(squelch) as well as the analysis of CTCSS/DCS tones (if the
latter was set) for roughly 10 seconds. In this case even very
