CALL function and lasts roughly 2 seconds.
The transmission lasts approximately 10 se-
conds in total. The call is repeated three times.
Switching on the baby phone function makes all other functions in-
operative except the PTT key and the display backlighting. The ap-
propriate sensitivity level that should be set depends on how far
the walkie-talkie is placed from the baby and the level of backgro-
und noise in the room. If the sensitivity setting is too high the VOX
function (voice control) may be activated by ambient noise.
INTERCOM FUNCTION
Thanks to its built-in intercom function, the Pocket Com PMR Pro
is particularly useful for motor cycle riders. You need two suitable
headsets to achieve communication between the driver and pillion
passenger.
Plug the first headset into the loudspeaker/microphone socket
(2) at the top of the device and plug in another headset using an
appropriate connector into the INT socket (19) on the side of the
Pocket Com PMR Pro.
The Pocket Com PMR Profi now assumes the function of a two-
way intercom and allows communication between driver and pilli-
on-rider. To communicate with other motorcyclists (queue driving)
either manual or speech-controlled send mode can be selected.
For manual send operation select the normal "PTT" mode, for
speech-controlled send operation the "VOX" mode must be activa-
ted.

Fonction baby-sitter
La fonction baby-sitter convient parfaitement à la surveillance d'un
bébé. Pour utiliser l'émetteur-récepteur comme baby-sitter, deux
émetteurs-récepteurs PMR sont nécessaires ; Pocket Com PMR
Profi peut également être utilisé en combinaison avec d'autres mo-
dèles PMR, ce qui importe, c'est d'avoir le même réglage de canal
ou de fréquence. L'appareil récepteur doit être en marche.
• Allumez le deuxième appareil et appuyez en
même temps sur la touche "ENTER" (5) pen-
dant env. 1 seconde.
• Appuyer sur la touche "F" (6) jusqu'à ce que
"bb 03" apparaisse sur l'écran.
• A l'aide des touches "UP" ou "DOWN",
choisir un des niveaux de sensibilité (01 = ni-
veau de sensibilité maximal / 06 = niveau de
sensibilité minimal).
