Transmitting in handsfree mode (VOX)
As well as manual transmission control (PTT key), the Pocket Com
PMR Pro offers automatic voice controlled transmission (VOX)
which allows you to use your walkie-talkie in handsfree mode. The
sensitivity of the VOX function can be set in 6 steps from "01" (hig-
hest sensitivity setting) to "06" (lowest sensitivity setting). The "VOX
01" setting is ideal in a quiet environment. The "VOX 06" setting is
ideal in an environment where there is a high level of background
noise.
Activating the speech control (VOX):
Hold the "F" function key (6) on the activated walkie-talkie for ap-
prox. 2 seconds. "VOX" now appears on the display.
Setting the VOX sensitivity and switchover times
• Switch the device off.
• Keep the "ENTER" key (5) pressed and
switch the device on again, when the "ENT-
ER" key (5) is released "Beep on" appears
on the display.
• Press the "F" key (6) until LE vox 03" ap-
pears on the display; then press the "UP" or
"DOWN" key in order to set the desired VOX
sensitivity. This completes setting the VOX
sensitivity.
• Press the "F" key (6) repeatedly until "dL vox
03" appears on the display. Repeat the pro-
cedure described above and set the recei-
ve/transmit switchover time as required (Le-

- Pour adopter le réglage actuel, appuyer sur la touche "ENTER"
(5).
A présent, Pocket Com PMR Profi ne reçoit que les signaux de ré-
ception disposant de la tonalité d'identification réglée. Dans le mo-
de émission, la tonalité d'identification est émise en même temps.
Pour désactiver la fonction, sélectionner le réglage "00" dans le
menu CTCSS.

DCS (Digital Code Squelch):
Une autre possibilité d'appel sélectif permet également de com-
mander la fonction squelch par des tonalités d'identification DCS.
