Always close your windows in strong
winds and make sure to avoid any drafts,
even when you are away. During a storm,
roller shutters must be either completely
closed (lowered) or completely open
(raised).
Important :
A lowered roller shutter cannot withstand
all wind forces if the windows are open.
The specified wind resistance class is only
guaranteed when the windows are closed.
When using your roller shutters as sun
protection, we recommend not closing
them completely. This allows for optimal
rear ventilation, preventing heat build-up.
For PVC roller shutters, this precaution
also reduces the risk of deformation due
to high temperatures.
The descent of the roller shutter must
never be obstructed.
Do not touch moving parts: during ope-
ration, everyone must remain away from
the area of movement.
NOTE:
Ensure that the area of movement of the
roller shutter is always free of obstacles to
ensure safe and damage-free operation.
Do not place any objects on the roller
shutter. Any additional weight may da-
mage the mechanism or even cause the
roller shutter to fall.
If your roller shutter is installed in front of
the only access to your balcony or terrace,
deactivate the automatic system before
use.
Without this precaution, you may find
yourself locked out.

Restricting access to control elements
In case of freezing, avoid forcing the
roller shutter. Do not attempt to raise
or lower it if it is frozen, as this may
damage the mechanism.
NOTE:
Once the shutter has thawed, it can
be used normally.
If there is a risk of frost, deactivate
the automatic system of your roller
shutter to prevent damage to the
mechanism.
Never push the roller shutter up-
wards. This could cause malfunctions
or damage the mechanism.
Do not allow children to play with
the roller shutter controls, such as
the radio remote control or wall
switch.
The remote control must be kept out
of the reach of children to avoid any
risk of accident or damage.
