Safety instructions
For personal safety, it is important to follow the
instructions. Failure to follow the instructions
may result in personal injury and/or property
damage due to the functional characteristics of
the product. Failure to follow the instructions
releases Jalousiescout from any liability.

bols in the instructions.

These installation instructions belong to this
product and contain important information
on transport, handling, installation, and com-
missioning. They describe the basic installation
of Jarolift front-mounted roller shutters with
belt, crank, or motor operation and, depending
on the model, with insect screen roller blinds.
Different shapes or special solutions are not
covered.
Proper use and conditions of use
Only use the roller shutter as a roller closure for
windows and doors.
The Jarolift front-mounted roller shutter is an
external sun or heat protection product that
may only be used for its intended purpose (use
as winter or summer privacy, sun, or heat pro-
tection). Depending on the model, an insect
screen is integrated.
Improper use can result in considerable danger.
Additional loads on the Jarolift front-mounted
roller shutter due to attached objects or rope
tensioning can lead to damage or the product
falling and are therefore not permitted. Proper
use also includes observing these instructions
and complying with the installation conditions.
Only use original components and accessories
from the manufacturer.
For the electrical connection, a 230 V / 50 Hz
power supply with a local switch-off device
(fuse) must be permanently available at the
installation site.
Warranty
The warranty period stated in our online shop
applies. Regular maintenance is a prerequisite.
Wear parts (ball bearings, roller shutter belts,
and safety springs) as well as optical changes
in line with the state of the art (e.g., fading of
surfaces due to UV rays) are excluded from the
warranty.
Note on the electric drive
Depending on the model of the electric drive,
special adjustment and operating instructions
apply. The delivery of your front-mounted roller
shutter must include the appropriate instruc-
tions for the respective motor type. If this is not
the case, please contact Jalousiescout so that
these can be sent to you.
