INTRODUCTION
Any work on electrical installations poses a fatal risk of electrocution.
The connection of the tubular motor to the mains and all electrical work must only
be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with the motor connection
diagrams.
All installation and connection work must be carried out with the power discon-
nected.
Failure to comply with this instruction may result in death. Observe the regulations for
installation in damp rooms:
In particular, follow DIN VDE 0100, parts 701 and 702, which define the mandatory
protective measures.

It is essential to observe the installation and
connection instructions!
Improper installation and assembly can result
in serious injury!
Lay the motor power cable inside the empty
conduit to the junction box, observing the
local electrical regulations.
Power cables must not be laid in the roller
shutter box.
Ensure that the power cable does not come
into contact with the roller shutter curtain or
other moving parts of the system.
For the electrical connection, a 230 V/50 Hz
power supply with a local disconnect device
(fuse) must be available at the installation site
at all times.
To avoid hazards, the power cable may only
be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer

service department, or a similarly qualified
person. Only the same type of cable supplied
by the motor manufacturer may be used.
Install permanently mounted control devices in
a visible location.
ATTENTION!
Observe the instructions for installation and
operation of the system!
Failure to do so increases the risk of injury!
Proper operation of the system is only guaran-
teed if it is installed and assembled correctly,
has a sufficient power supply, and is maintai-
ned properly.
Secure the system against unauthorized opera-
tion.
Take safety precautions against unintentional
activation.
Before working on the system, disconnect all
connection cables to be assembled from the
power supply and secure them against unin-
tentional restarting.
Remove all unnecessary cables.
