5.3 Preparing the installation area

The lift must be installed on a floor that is capable of resisting the forces transmitted to the ground support areas (see
paragraph "5.2Floor requirements").
Any reinforcement must be applied using Ø10 mm rods and a 15 cm mesh. The lift must be installed on a surface
having a load bearing capacity of not less than 1.3 kg/cm2.
The minimum extension area must be at least A x 2.7 m, without expansion joints or gaps that might interrupt the
continuity of the reinforcement.
The support areas must be flat and level with respect to each other (+/- 0.5 cm).
