Replacing the rope

1 Place the clutch on the 'OUT' position.
2 Take off the rope unit to its full length. You can now see how the
existing rope is connected to the drum.
3 Remove the old rope unit and attach a new unit to the drum
in the same way.

Make sure the new rope is wound up in the same direction as
the old rope. The rope should leave the drum from the bottom,
under the drum.
5 Place the clutch on the 'IN' position

Wrap the rope unit on the drum. On the first five revolutions,
be careful not to buckle the rope. Then the rope must be wrapped
under a load of at least 5% of the nominal pull force on the drum.
WARNING – swap the rope only with the identical spare parts
recommended by the manufacturer.
