Fixed mount - two-bolt mounting method:
For this setup, set the winch to Freespool mode and unwind enough
rope from the drum to allow the steel stiffening plate to be placed
underneath it, if it was not installed during assembly. To withstand the
forces generated during winching, the mounting plate should be at least
1/4" (6mm) thick. Ensure that the mounting structure is strong enough
to handle these loads. After completing the mounting and wiring, the
winch rope can be wound back onto the drum using power.

WARNING – When choosing the two-bolt mounting method, do not
use the front shackle hole to redirect the pull back to the winch base-
plate. If using a pulley block for double-lining, always attach the winch
hook to a nearby solid structure instead of the winch baseplate.
