13 Flying the drone

13.1 Connecting the transmitter with the drone

1. Switch the drone on by sliding the ON/OFF switch into the ON position.
The lights on the drone flash.

2. Place the drone on a flat surface with the blue lights facing away from you.
3. Switch on the transmitter by pushing the ON/OFF button.
The indicator light on the transmitter flashes.

4. Push the left joystick up to the highest position.
A confirmation sound is emitted.

5. Pull the left joystick down to the lowest position.
A confirmation sound is emitted.

The drone is connected to the remote control.

13.2 Calibrating the drone

Calibrate the drone before every flight and after every crash.
Drone and remote control are connected.

1. Move the left and the right stick diagonally outward into their bottom positions.
The lights on the drone flash fast.

2. Wait for the lights on the drone to turn solid.
The drone is calibrated.
