13.4 Flying in headless mode

Headless mode is a flight setting for drones in which the drone's orientation is automatically aligned with the pilot's
perspective. For example, moving the right joystick up always sends the drone away from you, no matter which way
the drone's "front" is facing (the blue lights on the drone).
1. Place the drone on the ground so that the blue lights on the drone face away from you.
2. Press the headless mode activation button on the transmitter.
The transmitter beeps continuously.

The lights on the drone flash continuously.

3. Control the drone in headless mode.
4. Press the headless mode activation button to deactivate the headless mode.

Press the one press landing button
and the drone automatically lands.
The motors stop within 2 seconds.
Press the return to home button to
automatically let the drone flight to
your location.
Control the drone during the re-
turn flight as needed.
Cancel return to home by press-
ing the return to home button.
Adjust the speed at which the drone
reacts to input. Repeatedly press the
speed button SPEED to adjust the
speeds. Each speed setting is con-
firmed by beep sounds:
1x beep: low speed
2x beeps: medium speed
3x speeds: high speed
Beginners should use the lowest
speed.
