3. Push water hose (18/1) onto one of the two
1/2" cleaning fittings (18/2) (18/a).
4. Turn on the water.
5. Sit on the ride-on mower.
6. Switch on the ride-on mower.
7. Lower the mower mechanism to the lowest
cutting height.
8. Clean the mower deck:
■
Pull the mower mechanism switch up to
switch on the mower mechanism.
■
Allow the mower mechanism to run for a
few minutes.
■
Push the mower mechanism switch down
to switch off the mower mechanism.
9. Turn off the water and disconnect the hose.
10. Allow the mower mechanism to run for a few
minutes again to clear the water.
Cleaning the outside of the mower deck (19)
1. Clean the mower deck (19/1) with com-
pressed air (19/2).
8.1.3
Cleaning the discharge channel (20)
Regular cleaning of the discharge channel en-
sures its proper function, the effectiveness of the
mower mechanism and smooth operation of the
cutting height adjustment. The risk of fires is re-
duced.
The discharge channel consists of two parts
pushed one inside the other. The lower section
forms part of the mower deck. The upper section
can be pulled out for cleaning.
1. Remove the grass catcher.
2. Pull the star grips (20/1) inwards to release
the mounting (20/a).
3. Pull (20/b) discharge channel (20/2) to the
rear out of the back wall (20/3).
4. Thoroughly clean the upper and lower dis-
charge channels.
Activity
Inspect the batteries for dam-
age.
Charge the batteries.
Inspect electric cables for
damage.

5. Push the upper discharge channel into the
back wall again from the rear.
Note: The upper discharge channel must fit
exactly into the lower discharge channel.
6. Push the star grips outwards to secure the
discharge channel.
7. Hook in the grass catcher.

Cleaning the housing and operating
elements
Use a cloth, hand brush, long-stemmed brush or
similar to remove dirt and grass residues.

Preparing the ride-on mower for
maintenance
1. Set the cutting height to the highest level.
2. Engage the parking brake (see chapter 3.7.5
"Parking brake (04)", page 48).
3. Switch off the device: Remove the safety key.
4. Pull out the batteries.
5. Allow the motors to cool down.
6. Remove the grass catcher.

Oiling the attachment points of the
mower deck (21)
1. Spray the attachment points (21/1) on both
sides of the mower deck (21/2) with spray oil.

Regular maintenance work
(maintenance schedule)
The following work and checks may be carried
out by the user independently. All other mainte-
nance, service and repair work must be carried
out in an authorised service workshop.
NOTE Shorter maintenance intervals than
those stated in the table may be necessary in
case of severe loading and high temperatures.
NOTE The user must not carry out any
maintenance work on electrical or electronic com-
ponents. Have this work carried out by an autho-
rised workshop.
