1. Pull the locking latch (13/2) upwards and hold
(13/a).
2. Move the operator's seat forwards or back-
wards (13/b).
3. Release the unlocking lever to lock in the
new position.
6.2
Starting and stopping the ride-on mower
NOTE Permitted operating positions: You
are sitting on the operator's seat and operating
the ride-on mower from here.
Starting the ride-on mower
1. Sit on the operator's seat.
2. Insert the safety key (02/1) into the slot next
to the display.
3. Press the ON/OFF button (02/2) to switch on
the ride-on mower.
4. Wait for the ride-on mower to perform its self-
test. The status indicators and buttons on the
control panel and display light up during the
self-test.
5. Slowly press one of the driving pedals (03/1,
03/2) down until the desired driving speed is
reached.
Stopping the ride-on mower
1. Release the drive pedal. If necessary: Press
the brake pedal (04/1).
2. Engage the parking brake:
■
Push the brake pedal (04/1) as far as it
will go and hold it there.
■
Push switch (04/2) for the parking brake
upwards.
■
Release the brake pedal.
3. Remove the safety key.
4. Now you can get off the operator's seat.
6.3
Setting the cutting height
1. Push the cutting height adjustment le-
ver (06/1) outwards to disengage it.
2. Move the cutting height adjustment lever
gradually up or down:
■
Downwards: for low cutting height.
■
Upwards: for high cutting height.
3. Push the adjustment lever inwards to engage
it.
NOTE Always lock the adjustment lever in
the selected position so that the mower mecha-
nism is fixed and does not move unexpectedly.

6.4
Mowing
Observe the charge status of the batteries and
recharge them in good time:
■
Below 40%: Driving speed and mowing
mechanism speed are automatically reduced.
■
Below 30%: The LED strip (02/13) in the dis-
play flashes red and the acoustic signal
sounds once a second.
■
Below 10%: The charge status display
(02/14) flashes red and the acoustic signal
sounds once a second.

Switching on the mower mechanism
1. Drive the ride-on mower onto the lawn area
to be mown.
Note: Do not start the mower mechanism on
stony ground or when the grass is very long.
2. Stop the ride-on mower.
3. Pull mower mechanism switch (05/1) up-
wards.
4. Drive off slowly and carefully.

Adjusting driving speed and cutting
blade speed
Adapt the driving speed and cutting blade speed
to the length of the grass:
■
Short grass: low cutting blade speed + high
driving speed
■
Long grass: high cutting blade speed + low
driving speed

(Tempomat®)
The Tempomat
works only when driving for-

Switch on the Tempomat®.
1. Press the forwards pedal (03/1) down until
the desired ground travel speed is reached.
2. Press the "Tempomat

on mower travels at a constant speed.
Switch off the Tempomat®.
