Breakdowns and recommissioning
In the case of foreseeable stagnation periods, the
following precautions should be taken:
Less than 3 days
None
3 to 30 days
Close the main service valve.
Disconnect the water softener from the network.
1 to 6 months
Close the main service valve.
Disconnect the water softener from the network and
decommission the unit.
Longer than 6 months
Disconnect the domestic water installation from the
public drinking water network.
Disconnect the water softener from the network and
decommission the unit.

Decommissioning
Close the multiblock. The building installation is
provided with untreated water through the bypass
in the multiblock.
Keep the Change Mode key pressed until
lbn appears in the display
Rinsing for 1 minute, then the valve starts to work.
When the engine stops, remove mains plug.
BWT recommendation for restarting the unit after
the stagnation phases:
Start-up: Flushing of the water softener.
Then open all extraction points to flush the ins-
tallation.
Open the main service valve.
Regenerate both exchanger resin columns.
Then open all extraction points to flush the ins-
tallation.
Open the main service valve.
Instruct BWT customer services to regenerate
both exchanger resin columns while adding Dioxal
disinfectant.
Then open all extraction points to flush the ins-
tallation.
Reconnect to the public drinking water network.
Instruct BWT customer services to regenerate
both exchanger resin columns while adding Dioxal
disinfectant.

Return of goods
Returned goods can only be processed by BWT if
they have a return material authorization number
