● Check the system has been installed correctly.
7.3 Measure the water hardness
Measure and note the drinking water hardness
upstream of the softener using AQUATEST.

7.4 Brine treatment
● Remove the cover plate (4).

● Fill the supply cavity (5) with regenerating agent
(salt tablets as per DIN EN 973 type A, e.g. Cla-
rosal or Sanisal/Sanitabs).
● Fill the brine chamber (6) with 4 litres of drinking

water.
● Plug power supply in. The water supply must
remain closed.
The display shows StArt and then alternates
between the capacity utilisation and weekday (1-
7) - time.
● Let the basic fixing drain off (approx. 40 se-
conds). The operating noise ends.
● If regeneration begins automatically, cancel this
by pressing the OK button.
● Open the water inlet!
7.5 Activate the start-up rinse
● Keep Change mode key pressed until lbn ap-
pears in the display.
Rinsing for 1 minute (rinse time t1), then the valve
starts to work.
The system is ready to operate.
The capacity and the blending valve are preset. You
only need to readjust these if the water is particularly
hard (hardness greater than 22 °d) or if the water
is of average hardness (hardness less than 14 °d).
