• Test the set milling depth with a
trial milling operation on a waste
piece.
Coarse adjustment (Fig. E)
1. Place the tool with inserted cutter
onto the edge of the workpiece to
be processed while allowing space
below the cutter.
2. Turn the lock (14) about half a turn
anticlockwise.
3. Press and hold the button (4).
4. Move the tool up or down until the
desired milling depth is reached.
5. Let go of the button (4).
Fine adjustment (Fig. E)
Use the controller (9) to make fine ad-
justments.
1mm(0.04")
1. Greater milling depth: Anticlock-
wise rotation
Lower milling depth: Clockwise
rotation
One complete revolution corres-
ponds to: 1 mm
2. Turn the lock (14) clockwise until
you feel resistance.
The milling depth is fixed.
Securing the fine adjustment
(Fig. F)
1. Screw the locking screw (10) from
the underside of the base plate
into the controller (9).
Fitting and removing the
adaptor for external dust
extraction
NOTICE! The dust extraction must
be suitable for the material to be
processed. Use a special vacuum
cleaner if dusts with hazard for health
are created.
Fitting the adaptor for external dust
extraction (Fig. B)
The adaptor for external dust extrac-
tion (19) can only be fitted in one pos-
ition.
1. Turn the lock (14) about half a turn
anticlockwise.
2. Press and hold the button (4).
3. Pull the tool fully upwards.
There is a maximum distance
between the tool and base plate
(7).
4. Let go of the button (4).
5. Insert the adaptor for external dust
extraction (19) into the recess (8) in
the base plate (7).
6. Turn the adaptor for external dust
extraction (19) clockwise as far as
it will go.
7. Connect a suitable dust extraction
to the adaptor for external dust ex-
traction (19).
Removing the adaptor for external
dust extraction (Fig. B)
1. Remove the dust extraction from
the adaptor for external dust ex-
traction (19).
2. Turn the lock (14) about half a turn
anticlockwise.
3. Press and hold the button (4).
4. Pull the tool fully upwards.
There is a maximum distance
between the tool and base plate
(7).
5. Let go of the button (4).
6. Turn the adaptor for external dust
extraction (19) anti-clockwise.
7. Remove the adaptor for external
dust extraction (19).
