2.9.3 Checking the heating element
NOTE: Resistance must be measured at room temperature.
Resistance of heating element: < 4 Ω
Sensor resistance value: < 10 Ω
If the values deviate, the heating element must be changed. Please follow the
enclosed instructions.

Resistance measurement after the change
Between pins 4 and 2 or 1 and between pins 5 and 2 or 1, the resistance must
be infinite.
If this is not the case, the heating element and sensor touch each other. This can
lead to the destruction of the board.
Finally, check the readings "a", "b" and "c".

NOTE:
Soldering tips are multi-layer metallically coated. Mechanical pressure or overly
aggressive cleaning can damage this coating and shorten the life of the
soldering tip.
